I just got these from a friend and really don't collect CDs. Just boots for shows I have been to, which I have all of except PJ20 Alpine. I also have Jeremy and Animal CD singles. No Avail states it is soundboard quality and In Rock We Trust sounds like it is although the crowd can be loud at times. But when isn't a PJ crowd loud? Any offers except PM me.

  • most are just crappy recordings which can be made available through various people trading audio.
no avail was a 95 show. night 1 or 2 in san jose i think.
in rock we trust i think is circa 92 possibly.

go to the skyiscrape or blackredyellow and look for people willing to do b&p's i think that stil goes on there. it's been so long since i did any audio trading

I have never really traded audio. I just download whatever I wanted. These are the actual CDs with artwork and all. I checked those sites out but didn't see much. Thanks for the links though.

I bought one at a record store a while ago called Free World. They are usually just thrown together, as in on FW there two pictures of the band, one with Dave A, the other withe Dave K. And the last track on the album is I've Got A Feelin', but it's spelled "Fellin'".

it's just people taking readily available audio and putting artwork on it to make money. I'd like it better if the pics synched up with the time period, or even the actual band members. I had one called Live From The Mixing Desk (Live in Atlanta) and inside one of the "band" pictures was of Chris Cornell! LOL

  • Back in the day the record store I shop at sold a ton of these and called them "imports". They were nearly twice as expensive as a regular CD but I bought my fair share of them.

gremmie.net/basement has a bootleg section. i think in rock we trust is there? they've got an a-z list of those imports. i used to have 5 musketeers, new songs, ultra rare trax, no fuckin messiah 1 & 2. all of those are on gremmie with the exception of ultra rare trax. i don't understand why the value on these things have gone up?!? they're unofficial bootlegs that were $28 a disc in the 90's. i was at my local record shop & they had a couple used for $20. they also had a bunch of pink floyd. some of them have the most atrocious sound quality. some are from radio broadcasts & b-sides slapped together to make a cd. the 5 muskeyeers artwork was hilarious. somebody took a picture with a sheep & there was a caption that claimed the sheep was "versus"

Back in 94/95 they ran about $35 for a single disc, and about $45 for a double disc. I bought many of them after I saw PJ for the first time in 1994. I as addicted! they are worth what you are willing to pay..... Just know what you are buying as the sound quality sucks major A$$ on so e of them. Hence why PJ sarted releasing there show to the fans, because people were selling crap to he fans for huge $$$. Other bands do/did this too, I know so dont post after me telling me who the first band to do it was because I dont care. I did not buy that bands way over priced bootlegs at record stores! :D

those are good quality shows. the same company that did in rock we trust did the 5 musketeers, it looks like. i loved that bootleg! first track was wash. sealed the deal fo real! dirty frank, oceans (remix), yl, breath, solat, release, alive, alone (demos) , hold your head up, mystery (not pj) & the ed/doors songs (crappy source) ultra rare trax had the soundboard of the ed/doors songs. takes me back to high school!

  • The first one I ever bought was More Pearls of Wisdom. It had Fuck Me in the Brain, Fucking Up, The Kids are Alright, Beast of Burden and Rearviewmirror, Not For You and Daughter from SNL. I played the hell out of that CD.

Ugh so did I. Thank you, Internet, for sparing me further.

Me too! I always wondered how we imported US shows back into the US. Did they ever leave the country? Love the free jams available today! Thank you PJ!!!
