Here’s what the revised schedule looks like:

Jan. 20 in Sunrise, Fla., at the BankAtlantic Center moves to April 2.
Jan. 21 in Orlando at the Amway Arena moves to March 31.
Jan. 23 in Tampa at the St. Pete Times Forum moves to March 29, becoming the first date on the North American schedule.
Jan. 25 in Charlotte, N.C., at the Time Warner Cable Arena moves to April 6.
Jan. 27 in Raleigh, N.C., at the RBC Center moves to April 4.
Jan. 28 in Columbia, S.C., at Colonial Life Arena moves to April 7.

hey the new Houston date is a Sat. Maybe we can get better seats if people can't make it. They did say refunds would be accepted.

Sucks to have to wait a few months, but will still be a great show.

New LA date is a Saturday as well which works out nicely. Bummed to have to wait until August, but the 2 small shows they did here back in August are holding me over. Hope AK gets well soon.

What was/were the reason(s) for this?
    From the article:

Surgeons recently put Kiedis under the knife to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot.

Although he’s expected to make a full recover, he won’t exactly be on his feet for the band’s winter tour in support of their Grammy-nominated album, I’m With You.

I am glad they are still touring and I hope Keidis makes a fast speedy recovery. Having had a tripple orthodeisis done on my right foot once, I know foot surgery can take a few months to recover from. I had my cast on for lik3 almost 3 months, and an air boot brace thing for another two months back in 2003. Actually had my cast on my foot and saw PJ two weeks later in Dallas in 2003.

  • RHCP was one of my bucket list bands to see. Saw them a few years back and was underwhelmed. And I'm not hard to impress. I think even if they come back to Winnipeg,I'll skip it. This is actually the first RHCP album I haven't bought. Previewed it, and deleted it.

I wasn't totally let down by their show or anything, but they weren't amazing either. I thought Froosh and Flea really kicked alotta ass with their playing and energy, though there are some of the newer songs that coulda used a second guitarist. Keidis just seemed totally disinterested.

I don't think much of the new album either, but what I've seen of Klinghoffer has impressed me. He goes from rhythm to lead and back much smoother than Frusciante ever did.

Ticket prices seem to be reasonable for this tour. I think the most expensive tix are like 70? If I remember correctly their tour for SA had super high prices. I saw them tour for by the way and might have to check them out in Philly for that price. Any idea who will open?
