Are there any doubts there will be a NA Tour in 2012? Any rumors as to when??

    Could happen. Enough time before the Europe leg (shows through May like in '10) and plenty of time after July. It's hard to see them not playing any US dates TBH, esp. as some people complained that Alpine Valley doesn't equal a US tour...

    I'm hoping for August :D I think it's a 90% chance for a North American tour (based on nothing other than optimism :lol::lol: )

    I would hope so. Pearl Jam has been averaging a visit to the West Coast every three years since 2000. The last time they came to San Diego was 10/9/09. Patiently waiting...

    I'm hoping they play the Sasquatch Festival this year. Makes sense and seems to be the perfect time.

    Studio time is booked for March/April.

    Soundgarden back on tour doing European festivals early May

    Pearl Jam on tour in Europe end of June/early July.

    Rumours of Ed Europe tour late July.

    So based on all the above, I'd say September 2012 is the earliest you can expect a Pearl Jam USA tour this year. Possibly coincidencing with a new album release.....

    Its been open for a couple years now, but several huge artist have played there, and Van Halen just announced that they are kicking off their tour there...

    Nothing will happen before Europe. Sadly Matt is playing with Soundgarden again and they have a tour of Europe in May.

    My bet is that they will do the PJ20 Euro Tour, and announce an Aussie tour for after. Then release the album and then begrudgingly tour the US.

    That sounds all good and well as long as they tour Australia sometime this year, they seem to manage a visit every 3 years, so by my calculations I'm betting on Nov/Dec....maybe might get a fantastic birthday present !! :D

    wouldn't be shocked to see some dates in early may but we'll probably have to wait til late july/august for shows over here

    Hoping for November / December... then it wouldn't conflict with the agility schedule for the unlost dogs.

    So hard to choose... agility tournaments vs. PJ. Sooooo much fun with the dogs... SOOOOO much fun with the humans!

    Really hoping for a decent bonus at work so I can sock away some $$$. Would love to try to get to a series of eastern US shows, and really, really REALLY want to go to Seattle too. *dreams*

    This would be so easy if it didn't take so much money and vacation time.

    I could definitely do PJ in the late summer/fall. It was a great time this past fall and if they play any outdoor gigs its good weather for it. As long as they come within a 6-8 hour drive i'll make the trip

    I need to see my first show as well. Hope for an east coast tour in the fall. Maybe similar to Vote for Change for the election (capaigning against GOP nominee).
