Would love to see PJ bring this song back into the rotation for closing out concerts. I actually prefer them to play this instead of Yellow Ledbetter.

I'd say not hearing Indifference was the only disappointment on the 2010 shows. I got 4 Yellow Ledbetters from 4 shows and I did love them all but I expected something different at least once. I love how some of the S. American shows last year had Indifference, RITFW & YL to close them. I'd take that in Manchester in June very happily.... :D

They still close shows with Indifference...? Winnipeg 2011 closed that way. I prefer Indifference in the middle of the set with the lights out as well. Like the joyous songs when the lights on are.

exactly what i was going to say, the house lights totally kill the mood of the song

Didn't know how much I'd love it as a closer until I got it as a closer at MSG 1 '10. Thought it was the perfect ending to a perfect first PJ show :)

And speaking of Indifference closing a show, this is the best version ever, IMO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dakZaJL04Q0. My favorite PJ performance ever, I think.

I love Yellow Ledbetter. The song has a certain sadness but also a positive vibe to it if that makes any sense. I love it as a closer.

I've been watching pearl jam since '92.. I never even saw them play it until seattle in 2009. I was pretty stoked.

I wish they'd play it more... Yellow Ledbetter is great, but I've seen it alot of times. I think I've seen indifference just that one time now....

they still bust it out sometimes, just not often.

Indifference will always hold a special place in my heart, because it closed my very first PJ show in Seattle in '93. I'll take one Indifference closer over a half dozen YL's.

It was a great closer in Winnipeg, and I didn't think the lights being up killed the mood at all.

Was a sort-of unexpected closer for Cleveland '10, and it was outstanding. Will say again: Cleveland '10, great boot start to finish.

    cheers

I've only see PJ twice and got it as a closing song at Wembley '07... (AWESOME setlist btw)
Such a shame the sound was soooo effin bad on the day... Indifference sounded just wrong....

I thought that was just me! Yes, the sound was terrible. Great set though - Indifference, Present Tense and I belive their last ever performance of Bu$hleaguer.
