Too bad you and Sam weren't able to get tickets to the show. I thought I found someone with an extra ticket, but he already gave it away by the time that I PMed him.
I keep an eye out for extra tix for tomorrow's show.

I've given up looking for any kinda report from these shows. For some reason nobody going to these shows wants to share anything with us until after the show is over. I have no idea why the change in attitude as we always have relayers and reports for the full band shows (and I'm sure those not sharing now will be bitching if we don't share when they come to our coast)...but oh well...its not like Ed's changing his sets much anyways.
I'm sure tonight is gonna be a killer show though. I wish I was able to go
Last week was very tough for me, but I'm better now. The best medicine for me was listening to Berk 1.

I've noticed the same thing you have about the lack of reports until morning. It makes not being able to go EVEN WORSE!!
OMG me too! I'm glad that for the first few shows I was out of the country with not much computer access anyways so I wasn't thinking...WTF every night. I logged on once from down there (for work reasons) and went on the board to see the setlists and got all excited. I was jonesing for some setlist watching, and boots but so far haven't gotten either (ok cept Berkeley...and I know they aren't allowing taping so its cool that there are no boots).
Oh well even though I wish I could have gone to a show I don't regret my decision to wait for the east coast shows.
Do you think that Matt Cameron will show up?

Of course a wild and crazy guess of mine was going to be Pearl Jam, but I didn't because saying so would sound crazy.

Yes, the morning check it will be. I've tried to stay up to check the boards during a show and I always give up because it's not like a regular PJ show where there are lots of relayers plus I have to get up early to go to work in the morning.
This is why I'm looking forward to the east coast shows. I won't attend any of them, but at least being on the west coast I won't have to stay up late to follow the show.
Yes. Sometimes trips and dates just aren't practical.
I think it's partially more painful because of the black-out on pictures and Youtube videos and recordings too...but maybe there will be an official release?

I was taking to a friend of mine who's been to a bunch of the Ed shows and she told me that as soon as anyone pulls out their cell to text security is all up their ass. Guess the guy in the other thread that said security was loose had the only section they weren't tough in haha.
Well, maybe he wants to put something together that's more polished and complete. I think it's interesting that he's giving the shows more visual material than we might have expected.

I think there haven't been many relayers because theses shows are so intimate and you really are hanging on to ed's words wanting to see what story he'll go into next....maybe people are more into that then texting

You can text during the song not Eds story...and some people have been to a lot of shows so wouldn't hurt their experience that much as the set is almost the same every night. Thats just my 2 cents tho...I haven't been to any shows so I could be wrong. I hope its security and not people being selfish...cause if WE don't relay on the East coast I know we'll hear about it from those on the west coast who couldn't go.
Anyways I can't wait to hear about what happened tonight...should be a killer show.

But security at these shows is tight, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason. I've seen phones, cameras and people taken away at each of the 3 shows I went to
If its a song played all the time...to take 20 seconds to text some initials is nothing. I understand if its a rare song or a song special to you. Ohh and when I've relayed. I call my friend...set the phone down on my bag and enjoy the show. Didn't affect my enjoyment of the show one bit. Only thing is I couldnt' do entire shows case we don't have the long distance deals that american carriers offer.
If security is tight then so be it...I'm sure I can speak for eveyone when I say none of us wants anyone to jepoardize themselves for a relay...but come on....we would have been happy to get even a FEW songs here and there. Just a litlte bone ya know hehe.
