Bon Iver's 2nd album and other than Adele's 21, the defacto album of the year as chosen by critics, and it was my own favorite album of the year.

the cover is appropriate. it feels like a watercolor painting. impressive songwriter, which seems to have been written after the melody and music, often in what looks and sounds like stream of consciousness form, but is beautiful nonetheless. it almost seems like the lyrics were chosen for how they sound against or paired with the music.

Incorporating a full band of up to 9 musicians, there are horns, sax, pianos and synths.

this was an and is an unbelievable album and a worthy follow up to For Emma.

    I've got to persevere with this because the first time I played it I almost fell asleep. Which means I'll probably love it in a couple of weeks.

    I have a hard time getting into his stuff. I like the first album some but the new one never clicked with me. Seems everyone else loves it though oh well

    Loved the first album.

    Wasn't too crazy about the 2nd album at first, but it has really grown on me. The more that I listen, the more I like it.

    I had a difficult time getting into "For Emma, Forever Ago" - but Justin's second effort is outstanding! Actually helped me enjoy the first album more!

    Absolutely LOVE the first album...The 2nd album has taken some time to get into, but it has definitey grown on me. Looking forward to seeing him live in a few months in Brisbane

    I have this show saved on my DVR and was hoping they would release a Blu-ray of their last tour!!
    I was lucky enough to see Bon Iver at The Hard Rock in Vegas last year and can't wait to see what they do next!!!
