Accidents are so scary...

Was driving home from a trip to McDonald's and saw 3 cop cars, an ambulance, and a fire truck.
I thought, "Oh no, I hope that they're okay..."
Cops moved traffic down to one lane to make room for the accident. I was stopped for a couple of minutes waiting for folks on the other side of the line to pass... Wondering who it was the whole time of course...
I was allowed to pull forward and I looked at the car, thinking, "Wow, that car looks familiar... It's... Oh no..."
My best friend's car was there with the front end totally smashed...
I still am not sure what happened but I got a text back from him saying that HE'S FINE. He said he was lucky.
Still in disbelief though... Scary thing.
Have a good night guys.

Everyone's fine. Cut on his head and his finger. Very minor stuff thankfully.
Car's done apparently though so that sucks.
It's hard to stop quickly when the roads have a thick layer of ice on top
Shouldn't be too long, probably Friday?...
Glad to hear it was minor injuries for him. I know what you mean about driving on a layer of ice...we just finished with a heavy snowfall hear yesterday. Sometimes you can't help it, even if you are driving carefully.
Get right back on the horse.
They're both fine and life goes on.
