Know I had a life long dream
seemed to me it meant everything
if it was right or it was wrong
maybe something in-between
can't always distinguish the truth
nor tell what's really happening
it all feels real enough to me
real enough that I can squeeze
grip onto with all my might
hope this is a guiding light
And maybe when I've had enough
I can just give it all up
right now I'll live within two lives
it makes me not cry at night
one distinction can be too much to tell
I'll just hold onto my two self's
doesn't matter if it's not real
it helps me to help myself not to feel
