All I've been listening to the past few days is Live in Atlanta, Vault #1, and the real Vault #1 (12/31/92). Totally digging the early shows.

I was just searching ebay for one of the many cd sets on pjcollectors, and I came across Rarified and Live. a day left in the auction. it's at $130 CDN. Jesus Murphy.

I always thought it was vinyl for this band that got people opening their wallets.

Maybe I'll just start trading my vinyl for cd's. In PJ world, that probably sounds nutty. But it's something I want. I listen to cd's about 10000 times more than vinyl. But my vinyl stays at home. I'm worried about losing cd's! (it happened on my EV Minnie trip-lost a whole bunch of cd's by leaving the jacket on the roof of my van and driving away).

I paid more than that for my Rarefied and Live from a store in Melbourne back when folk who won it began dumping their copies. That price is good for that double disc set.

Pearl Jam cd's don't sit on a shelf unused. My vinyl and other collectibles do. I never said I was selling EVERYTHING. Just the shit that collects dust, the stuff I collected for the sake of collecting.
