I am going to my friends house, a quiet one.
He has the flu not good, hope it doesn't get passed on lol

    Having the inlaws over, "my brother in law and I'll will hit the sauce" watch the WJHC Canada vs USA" Go Canada! And play some Rumoli... And of coarse see if the kids can make it to midnight. We'll make sure it's a lot of fun!

    Hot damn! That looks like it trumps the shit out of the cheese wedge! Although, they will be serving complimentary hot chocolate...in which we typically add pepperment schnapps to.

    1) 5 year old's temp comes down: community centre for family fun then take kids to grandparents house for sleepover then off to house party to get blitzed with friends and wife
    2) 5 year old's temp doesn't come down: stay home and watch Dick Clark's New Year's Mumbling Eve with wife while sipping a glass of wine

    It was a quiet one.
    My friends gf was bummed out nothing exciting was organised.
    We had a BBQ and beers.
    We walked around the block before midnight to watch the fireworks, my friends has a clear view of the city, there were many people from the neighbourhood there watching.
    The skyscrapers were lit up gold and the fireworks were golden coloured.
    As I have a new smartphone I couldn't work out how to change the settings, shame because I could have got some nice shots.

    And also, the fireworks are so loud.
    Sounded like thunder, and we were nowhere close to the city.
