    Honorable mentions to Robert Plant & the Band of Joy (Louisville Palace, April), Robert Randolph and the Family Band (Headliners Music Hall, Louisville, June), Civil Wars (Town Hall, NYC, 10-27-11), Matthew Sweet (Headliners, Louisville, October) and Raconteurs, Ryman Auditorium (Nashville, September), and probably a few more I'm blanking on. Was a heck of a year for shows (among other things) for me.

    I have my 3 best. The other 3 are just honorable mentions. Not part of my best. Also, it's not really a "rule" you can post 100 if you like. Putting 3 just makes it tougher and helps the cream rise to the top. Thanks for coming out, though.

    Only went to three shows. They were Eddie Vedder at the Palais in March, 2 concerts, and the Living End at the Palace. All 3 were great.

    i wish, but not that I recall. I was distracted for a song or two as my sister passed out but I knew most of everything they played. It was a killer show. It was my first and only time ever seeing them (or Jack White for that matter) and damn did they sound great.

    Right on.... I LOVE Dr. Dog, can't wait to see them in February.

    They were pretty amazing. Tons of stuff from Fate and Shame, Shame. They were loud in that tiny place. It was Scotty's b-day at midnight so they took requests for the encore. Played Girl which they supposedly hadn't played for awhile and they were unsure if they could play it but they nailed it.

    Can't wait for their new album. Got it preordered on multi-colored splatter vinyl. The 3 song preview that came with the preorder foretells good things.

    CRAP this is hard. I don't think I can narrow it down to 3!! So a few highlights: the 2 EV NYC shows at the Beacon, Paul McCartney at Yankee Stadium, DMB's last night at their Atlantic City Caravan Festival, Neil Young at the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore, Foo Fighters at the Verizon Center in DC. And a big honorable mention goes out to the Tres Mts show at the Gramercy Theater in NYC!
