Frayed

the dreariness of the day
has overstayed its welcome
much like myself

cold, gray and still
unprepared to speak
unable to breathe

myself and this day
will drift into the night
untouched by light

forever ago we felt love
tonight.....
tonight we dissolve
Peace, Love.
