Eddie Vedder show in CT called 'worst' of 2011?

Small piece in a story on the 'Worst Concert Experiences of 2011' has Eddie Vedder at the Bushnell as 'dis-honorable mention.'
I missed this show. What gives? I heard it was great.

First of all, it's inaccurate but even if Ed did play the ukulele [the whole time], this reads like someone who just wanted to knock the ukulele which means he should be writing any music-related reviews.
Secondly, I noticed he has "The Republican" attached to his name. Didn't bother to figure out what it means, other than I'm gonna guess that he is a Republican and Ed clearly is not
Btw, totally agree that NJPAC was mindblowing. Wasn't at this Hartford show, but was at the United Palace shows in 08 and Beacon shows this year and NJPAC is still #1 for me!!
NJPAC was awesome!! I listen to that bootleg as much as I can. Love the version of Unthought Known, amazing to be there to here it the first time it was ever played.
This is from the Buckcherry mention, and while I'm sure Buckcherry sucked a hard one I don't see how that stuff could be construed as the band being amateurs. Most shows I go to have roadies setting gear up and there's almost always some sort of mic/instrument check.
I went to Hartford and Providence Eddie Vedder shows and Hartford was light years better than Providence... but Ed had some serious competition that night in Providence (the Bruins) and it seemed the crowd was more concerned w/ the game than the concert...Not Ed's fault. He still brought it.
Oh, and how bout, "There are words to Yellow Ledbetter??"

Eddie brought it to Hartford, just like the band always brings it to Hartford. The show changed after he found out Clarence Clemons passed away.

I could be wrong but I think the writer of this article is just trying to be funny. I highly doubt he actually attended the show and is just basing his comment on what he was told about it and going for a few laughs. Even if that isn't the case based on the tenor of this guys article and what he praises I really don't think this is anything for PJ fans to get upset or worry about. I think we should all give it a collective shrug of the shoulders.
