    I looked into how far I went at the time & the figure was 8800miles but I'm not sure if that's the return distance. Anyway it was probably more seeing as my flights got mucked up & I ended up going Auckland-Sydney-Auckland-LA-Las Vegas-Chicago-Milwaukee!!!

  • if there had been a nice plane flying directly from my place to Alpine Valley would be 9659 miles, however with the stupid misdirected planes was about an extra 500 miles...
    I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

  • Happy B-day!!!!! 865.38 miles and we drove aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh straight thru aaaahhhhhh!!!! A long drive from Pennsylvania that took about 17-18 hours. One thing i learned is that i'll fly next time.

    we drove from Phoenix to Alpine Valley 1800 miles I way... The way back seemed a lot longer. The rental company had a cow when they saw the 3600 miles I put on the car in 4 days.
