Lets here what everyones new toys are that Santa brought.

I now have the Fulltone OF-2 OctaFuzz, Vox wah and a TV Jones replacement neck pick-up for my DeArmond M-75T. It's actually a pick up designed to replace that neck pick up and not a TV Jones style piece.

Also in the works for my own gift to myself, but that's still top secret. Something tube and hand wired. Should have more infor in a couple weeks

I got a cheap little uke! Figure I'd ask for something inexpensive and figure out if I actually like playing it. The one good thing is that it is small and can stay on a coffee table within easy reach of playing.

It's awesome to look forward to playing a really great guitar. I've never had a cutaway acoustic but it would be nice to have easier access to the higher frets.

I just got a baby Taylor today and I'm hoping it re-inspires me to just play every day. I'm hanging it on the wall ... next to my TV ... so it will be in view to taunt me when I get lazy. I just got a uke and realized how easy it is to just play even if I'm just slacking on the couch. I figured a parlor guitar would be perfect for around the house and outside.

Cheers and a Happy New Year!

The cutaway is nice (though my last had it too).. It's just so damn resonant. Those Baby Taylor's are so much fun! A friend has one, I always find myself picking it up!

  • I got a jazzmaster body from warmoth from the wife. I've been talking about putting one together for some time now, and now the journey begins. I also got some Lollar P90s in the jassmaster covers in the mail yesterday, so I'm on my way. You don't realize how many nuts and bolts are there until you start ordering all these parts. I should be fun. any build suggestions-tips are appreciated

I received money which I almost spent on a new guitar. However I found out my employer's been paying me wrong for the past four years and I'll be getting the difference around April, so I decided to hold out and get a nicer axe. I'm thinking my (late) Christmas present will be a Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin II, though I could change my mind again. Thoughts?
