Songwriter? Name of the first full song you wrote

I wrote lots of lyrics before this one, but this is the first one I put music to. Mine is a song called Moron. It is a song about being bullied. It's a punk song (isn't everyone's first song a punk song? LOL). I called it Moron because it's a loose transition on the bully's last name.

I was very proud of it because anyone who came to see us jam always requested it, and it was mine. :) It was during the era that Offpring's Smash had just come out and blown up, so I attribute it's popularity among friends to it sounding like that.

    The first song i wrote that was complete with lyrics and music i called "Not Just You". It's about my friends who would hate it when I went to hang out with different people, its like they thought they owned me. Its a bit Grungy, mainly influenced by Nirvana and Mudhoney.

    When I was in Elementary School I wrote a couple songs called "Wild Life" "and "My Friend" They weren't what you would call "Quality writing" :lol: But since then I have written many songs and still am! :D

    Mine was "Comeback",I was 15 and the lyrics were full of cheese. :)

    I wrote lyrics for a song called With The Sun On My Back when I was 15 (25 years ago) and I was really happy with them although they have changed a little since then. It still lives in the closet to this day with a dozen different chord arrangements. I planned it to be the centerpiece of a collection of songs which have never really materialised. I do intend to finish it as most of my ideas still exist, it just needs putting together.
    Like a book among the many on a shelf...
