Let Me Sleep

I first heard this song in 1997 I think. I remember being so relieved to hear something new in regards to Christmas songs. A fresh musical approach and the line, "Let me sleep it's Christmas time." I'm still not sure what it was about that lyric that I loved. But when I watch all the black Fridays and Cyber Mondays overtake our brains I always hear this line echo in the back of my mind. I just want to relax, enjoy the most important people in my life and get recharge for a new year.
I did a cover of the song. You can hear it here on Youtube and also Download it for free on my youtube page.

I remember when I first heard this song and it struck home the feelings around this time of year. I just love the line at the end when Eddie starts getting more into it "Oh when I..if I was a kid, oh how magic it seemed."

Just love that line at the end for some reason. Eddie gets more emotional there. I hear what you're saying, it just makes you want to relax with the ones you love at that time of year. One of my favs on Lost Dogs.
