New Killer Virus Developed in the Lab

We made it, now we’re scared sh-tless that it will be used as a biological weapon. Stop me here, but, isn’t this the reason NIH was commissioned to fund the development of this research in the first damn place, now they want to restrict its publication because of terrorists. Pssts, tests conducted on, you guessed it, primates, and thus, its active controls can be passed from birds, to primates to humans.

The problem with not releasing the research is that, a vaccine cannot be developed, the research cannot be verified for accuracy, most important, should a pandemic occur flu like symptoms are linked too more deadly viruses then the Bird Flu, knowing what you’re dealing with gives the medical profession a chance.
