Let Me Sleep
Options
I was at work today, and we have 2 buildings, so I usually bounce back and forth everyday, and I had it on 106.9 WCCC located in Hartford, CT. Anyway, when I turned the ignition, to my amazement I heard Let Me sleep. I couldn't believe it. I don't ever remember hearing that song on the radio ever. Not the early ninties or well, ever.
Anybody else hear this song on the radio ever? Or no? BTW it was toward the beginning of the song and it's about 30 seconds to the other building so of course I sat in the car til it was done. Merry Christmas to me!!!

They just played it the other day on KROQ in LA. It was a special pick of the day by one of the DJs that's a big PJ fan.0

I missed the start, so I don't know if it was a request or not. Also at the end the dj didn't come on and explain."I read about the evils of drinking, so I gave up reading." - Henry Youngman0 -

Yeah, it definitely made my day. Not that I was having a shitty one. Maybe if it were yesterday, 3 co-workers were laid off."I read about the evils of drinking, so I gave up reading." - Henry Youngman0 -

Awesome. I can count on one hand the times I've heard PJ at work and most of the times its Jeremy or Better Man. I'm sure it was a bit of a pick me up to hear 'let me sleep' though. The rarest PJ tune i've heard on the radio was Dissident, and it was on a classic rock station. Caught me by surprise.0

On WAAF in Boston they play a Holiday Chestnut 2 times in the morning. Last week, Let me Sleep was one of them and it was a shock to hear it on an FM station. He who forgets will be destined to remember.

I heard that Ed wrote the lyrics after being locked out of Jeff's apartment. He was cold and thought about the homeless and how they must feel when it's cold and they have no where to go. Such a thoughtful dude, that Ed is.It's nice to be nice to the nice.0

That's awesome. I wish I heard it on WAAF. Great song.0
