Hold On and Sad

These are two really, really great songs that I am discovering.

I have heard SAD live and it is very amazing.
I don't know where to find Hold On...has it been recorded live?

    Hold On has never been played live. You can find both songs on Lost Dogs, the 2 disc B-Sides collection.

    Hold On is amazing. I couldn't imagine what it would sound like live, it would probably knock everyone's socks off.. ;)

    Yeah, there's a Hold On listed in the touring stats but that's a Tom Waits song they've tagged a few times.

    Ever hear the demo version of Hold On that's on gremmie.net? It has Ed's original vocals (he re-recorded them in 2003 for Lost Dogs) but the music is mostly the same. I actually prefer the new vocals, his voice is so powerful on that song.

    And I think Sad is one of PJ's best songs. It really would have made Binaural so much stronger.

    We can only hope that it is the next song that they pull out of the bag on the 2009 tour....and throw in Strangest Tribe for fun.....

    Strangest Tribe is a good song, but I can't see it fitting into a setlist because it is really, really, really slow and kinda depressing for a live show.

    But, what do I know?
