Just got back to Worcester from Albany.
Here are my thoughts.
- this is not the same band from 3 years ago. it's a better one playing better setlists learned when playing all songs during 3 boston shows in 03.
- they love what they do and it shows
- they look fit and trim and in really great shape for 40 yr old's
- they do things that make you feel special, like what they do for you at your show is nothing like anything that has happened before
-eds passion and vocals sound as crisp and classic as ever!
- they were "tight" and rocked hard
- the new stuff sounds even better live than the disk, and i love the disk
- RATS. Enough said...
- is there another band that plays an entire song to 800 people seated behind the stage? that is respect.
- Why Go? was unreal
- 9 minute Porch hard rockout jam was very impressive
- setlist was original and fresh and done with care and craftsmanship
- albany is a nice little city and the pepsi is a nice mid-sized arena
- Marker in the Sand has an awesome ending and it sounded great live
-after the first break, ed played Hide Your Love Away alone. the rest of the guys stood just off-stage and sang along and bobbed their heads.
- Boom has long arms and hands like a bunch of bananas
- for number 179349 I was surprised to be slightly behind Mike 6 rows from floor on side, but it was a great place to see the show. No complaints.
-can't wait for Hartford tomorrow(today) and Chicago Wednesday and Boston next week!
Enjoy the show and have fun!
