Goldenvoice celebrated their 30th anniversary with 3 nights of shows at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. All of the bands were from the L.A./Orange County punk scene from the early 80s.

Friday night was Social D, X and the Adolescents

Saturday was Bad Religion, TSOL and Youth Brigade

Sunday was The Descendents, The Vandals, The Dickies and Black Flag as a surprise guest.

Black Flag was comprosised of Keith Morris, Bill Stevenson and Chuck Dukowski - the place went crazy when they came-on, but oddly enough, they only played 3 songs, so they were done in under 7 minutes!

It was a great weekend of shows....very amusing to see what the band members look like 30 years after their heyday!

Very cool that 4 of the bands have opened for PJ...X, The Vandals, Social D and Bad Religion.

It was fun to be around all the grown-up punks!

BTW, X had to cancel their show in LV last week!

No shit? Wow, maybe it was a blessing in disguise that my plans fell through. Would've really sucked to be stuck in Vegas with no concert and a tight budget.
