SOUNDGARDEN IN GERMANY

SOUNDGARDEN ARE SET TO PERFORM AT THE 2012 GERMANY "ROCK AM RING" ON JUNE 1ST HTTP://WWW.ROCK-AM-RING.COM AND "ROCK IM PARK" ON JUNE 3RD HTTP://WWW.ROCK-IM-PARK.COM/ FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND TICKETS, VISIT WWW.ROCK-AM-RING.COM OR WWW.ROCK-IM-PARK.COM

Additionally they will also play Pinkpop in the Netherlands in May.

I did not expect them to pull this off with Pearl Jam (Matt) touring Europe in June. Wow. This is going to be one hell of a long wait until the summer.

Wouldn't it be nice if AIC came over too, and they all hopped on this nice PJ tour we have for a little grunge fest :-)

There are so many 80s revival tours nowadays with half a dozen 80s acts on them, i'd love to see one with PJ, Soundagardne, the trees, mudhoney and AIC.

Managed to catch AIC last year in Manchester, they were brilliant. I know the guy isnt Layne but he's damn good, the band were tight and they killed it.

Agreed. Great show and I think they've handled the band with Layne very well and respectfully. I think they have a new album out next year at some point so hopefully another tour.

I caught AIC at Nova Rock 2006 and Soundgarden at Wembley Stadium 1992... How I wish I could see all 3 together...
Been dreaming of a Monsters of Grunge for years... To be honest I thought that was going to happen at Alpine. If it had been the case I would've gone...

I'm really surprised they managed to squeeze in Soundgarden shows just before the Pearl Jam tour starts. But I do think this makes it highly unlikely for Soundgarden to play more dates.

On Dutch news they said Soundgarden were planning a world tour in 2012 backing their new record. Also said that Pinkpop wanted to bring the news of Soundgarden headlining later, but that the band insisted on coming forward with that info now.

I highly doubt they'll come all the way to Europe to just play 3 festival shows! They're able to shows around when PJ are due to how few PJ are playing.
    My PJ shows:
    London 28/10/96, Las Vegas 11/7/98, London 29/5/00, Nurnburg 11/6/00, Prague 14/6/00, Salzburg 18/6/00, Verona 20/6/00, Milan 22/6/00, Zurich 23/6/00, New York 8-9/7/03, Boston 11/7/03, Reading Festival 27/8/06, Shepards Bush 11/8/09, Berlin 15/8/09, Manchester 17/8/09, London 18/8/09, Dublin 22/6/10, Belfast 23/6/10, London (HRC) 25/6/10, Alpine Valley (PJ20) 3-4/9/11, Manchester 20-21/6/12, Leeds 8/7/14, Milton Keynes 11/7/14 To be continued....
