The National's final show last night at the Beacon

Well last show until the new album (which is shaping up to be amazing). Was anyone else there? I was and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. Literally get goosebumps thinking of the Vanderlyle sing along to end it or Matt running through the crowd during Mr. November. Unreal stuff.

    I wasn't there but watched the majority of the webcast and it was great! That was a great ending with the acapella version of Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks and how they brought their whole crew out to sing with them. Gave me chills. Someday I will get to see this band live.

    If they made a DVD of that webcast, I'd buy it. My god, it was incredible. I was lukewarm on the band until that performance.

    Caught 3 of the 6 Beacon shows last week including the finale on Saturday. Didn't disappoint, especially the Saturday show. Phenomenal band..

    I am just waiting patiently to jump on a chance to conveniently see this band. Hoping that with a new record they'll come out this way.
