Anyone have problems with their PJ20 vinyl?

I see big streaks on one side of one of the LPs and on another there was a small drop of glue or something that I had to scrape off of the Jeff Ament Nothing as it seems demo. I managed to get most of it out of the grooves, but it still crackles and pops in a certain spot (It was skipping before, so it is definitely better now).

I gave one of my buddies an extra copy that I had for his birthday. He just called to say that it skips in one spot and has scuff-like scratches on it. :shock:

These came from 2 different retailers, so I don't know what to think.

Anyone else having issues?

yes..album 1 release crackle and pops for about 30 seconds, looks like a little nick and side 2 album 1 at the end has a skip nit allowing cartridge to return. I have contacted 10 club waiting for response.

I have the exact same issues. One side has a big scuff/streak. I haven't tried to clean it yet, I don't know if it's permanent or if it'll come off.

For a limited release, this seems like a high percentage of defects.
Some people are keeping theirs sealed, I wonder what percentage of those have problems.

I received mine in the mail damaged and I don't know what to do with it. I emailed tenclub but have received no response...? I'd open it and play it but I'd like to hear from 10c first.

I received mine in the mail about a week ago - As soon as i pulled it out i noticed it was bent!

About 5cms from the left hand side i can see the album/packagin is bent - big long line from top to bottom.... sad thing is it looks like the 10 club actually went to a bit of effort to make sure it was packed well.... Problem is mine was damaged before the 10 club packed it in the box so for once it wasn't the mailman lol

Sent 10 club 3 emails in the last week and yet to hear a response but I can forgive them being its the xmas season (and probably still dealing with the ticketing clu$ter%uck).

Fingers crossed this isn;t like the PJ20 blurays where 10 club did not keep any spare copies for returns.

Sounds like some qc issues, but some of it sounds like it could be solved with a good cleaning.

Yeah mine has a long streak across one side of record 1.

MIne has all those problems as well. The vinyl ripped through the sleeves on 2 of the records.Definitely looks as though it was damaged before packing. I emailed Ten Club a couple weeks ago and here was their response.

I only opened the package yet and I'm happy that there are no visible damages. I don't have a record player so i can't say if my vinyl has the same problems!

Mine seems to be extremely clean. Cannot see anything wrong. Still it's skipping during one song. Guess it's pressing error. Shame they don't have replacements. Even it's limited they should have couple of copies just in case,..

maybe its not the album. maybe its your stylus... mine sounds better than fine.

how can i check this? Every record I own plays perfect unless has visible damage.

The packaging was a little damaged on the corner of my copy. I've not checked the records themselves for visible defects but I don't have a record player yet either. My dad has one, I'll go round to his and play them!

I've listened to the first 3 sides of mine without error, although the LP sleeves are beat to hell, splitting, and one of them has several holes in it. So much for quality control....

wow, same exact issues here.....I noticed the streak on one of them as well and a lot of pops/crackles...a little skipping. It is not the player as I spun No Code front to back before and after and was flawless.
