I love epic summer thunderstorms.
I got woken up after midnight last week by an almighty bang.
My windows rattled for a few seconds later.

    Yeah love those too, but the scary part we have had a few of those too recently. I mean come on, it's supposed to be winter here, so a "tropic" thunderstorm in freezing temperatures is a somewhat thought awakening experience.
    But I remember them very vividly from my time in Thailand. The ones in 99% humitidy that is.
