    Oh, wait a minute, there is that one time live during the 7/9/03 show in NYC where he calls some audience members all kinds of nasty names. And I'll bet they had the same reaction as when some friends of mine and I saw The Clash and Joe Strummer flipped us the bird and told each and everyone one of us to go fuck ourselves... and he wasn't kidding... and we loved it. We went nuts! :D

    :D He obviously feels that swearing more effectively expresses his emotion or point in words. ' Swearing can definitely put one hell of an exclamation point on a statement. So I think it's pretty fucking effective. Plus, I want him to sing in the moment, not just sing the exact same lines over and over without getting into it and putting his current emotions into whatever he's singing. He's really feeling it up there, and if that means swearing, fucking GREAT.
    (Plus, he's just got a potty mouth in the normal course of things and always has - that's just the real Ed. I can relate. I have a potty mouth too. Don't know why, but fuck it).

    I actually understand the sentiment. I curse all the time, but sometimes Eddie curses like an 8 year old that just learned how. Actually, a song where he curses a lot makes more sense (Save You, obviously sung with some anger) than some of the ones where he randomly throws it in live.

    *shrug* Dude likes to say fuck. If you hear him just having conversations with people, he says fuck practically every second sentence. That's just how he speaks, and so that's how he sings too. Anything that is just Ed being Ed doesn't bother me. Could not care less.
