I have seen an ad on tv for the Fred Hollows foundation and have been meaning to donate... I just did... and what a feeling it was knowing that I have just paid for one person in a 3rd world country to restore their eye sight..
For $25, you can give someone the gift of sight too...
Thanks for the chance...

Wow what an incredible give away. Many kudos you 3days for doing this. Yet another reason why people need to remember how great of a community this is regardless of all the bullshit that has been going on.

I really really REALLY love this poster.... I want to win it!
I made 20 donations to give myself the chance to win...
I will list them all and gladly be vetted over them.
If I win I will also donate another 100$ to a organization.
I have never felt so great in my life.... It took me nearly 3 hours to compile and then put this into action.
I never thought I would find so many organizations that deem 5$ unworthy of being donated??? I mean really Michael J Fox Foundation???
5$ is better then 0$ every day of the week.
Here is my list, thank you for the chance and I hope I win. If I don't, well, I did win... Cause I helped out a bunch of great causes.
1. Salvation Army
2. Humane Society of Hamilton County
3. American Cancer Society
4.Humane Society of Indianapolis
5. Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation
6. ANNA FUND annafund.org
7. UNICEF

Like I said, if I don't win it was so so worth it!

Done. Made one to Conquer Chiari. And just sent 4 huge boxes to the Yellow Ribbon Club. They are on their way Elwayvedder!
Thanks Sheila! We are in need of Troop items as we just shipped over 3000 pounds of goodies in the past 2 weeks. This will be most helpful and is much appreciated. Thank you Sheila!
3days, I just donated to http://www.wishuponahero.com/. They partnered with The Yellow Ribbon Club today to bring home a soldier from Iraq in rock star fashion and then threw him a party as well.
Made a few donations this holiday season to causes that are near and dear to my heart, one to The American Cancer Society, and the other to the local chapter of The Arc, which helps helps children and adults with developmental and intellectual disibilities.
Donated $5 to www.childsplaycharity.org but I do not want to be entered into the contest. I'm lucky enough to already own this print but this thread was just too awesome not to participate in.
Again, kudos and thank you 3days.

Whatever works to get people to donate to a worthy cause is always a good thing...
Usually donate to several organizations, but made one to Purple Stride Orlando for Pancreatic Cancer:

The race was completed last month, but they are always accepting donations...
