Manchester #1 should be the show of shows...

After a very frustrating time for all ten club members, Manchester first show should be made XTRA special. I know PJ put everything into every show, that's why we love 'em, but it could be time for a different approach for this show. Whether it be performing an entire album from start to finish, an opening acoustic mini set or maybe just every song blowing the roof off..something like this would be welcome from this PJ fan. Oh, and any chance of playing Setting Forth for me

I'm not sure i'd like an album from start to finish; the back catalogue is so varied and the fact we never know what's coming next means that sort of show would spoil it somewhat.

That's not to say I wouldn't go to a show that was an entire album; plenty of bands are doing that nowadays and i've seen a couple. Maybe if they did 9 shows in 9 nights

Agree it would be nice to add something though, even if it's just Eddie acknowledging it on stage along the lines of "We know you've had problems getting tickets so to make up for it, this song's called Cready Stomp, and on ryhthm Mr Bruce Springsteen"

I hate to disappoint but very rarely is the first show of a tour special. PJ20 being the exception to the rule.

Dublin '06 was great, but they did have something to prove for that show.

I would be happy to see an album all the way through, just as long as it isn't riot act or pearl jam!

I would rather we just got the usual mixed bag of excellent classics.

i'll just be glad to be there considering the problems we had getting tickets... I'm sitting so high up that I've been advised to bring cans of oxygen as well as those gold-tinted aviator specs to avoid UV burning of the retina.

Check out Italy in 2006 when they played all of Pearl Jam at the Tornio show.

I'd like them to play their own support slot, not have the break and plough on through with no encore breaks because they are a waste of time and may be play for 4 hours!

I notice that Soundgarden are playing Rock am ring Germany at the beginning of June 2012, I wonder if Chris is going to stick around and do Hungerstrike with the boys in Manchester, its something I NEED to see! Here's hoping!
