This is really shameful...

Just read through the Kelly Curtis Q&A and I have to say, the amount of selfish, petulant belly aching from so called "fans" is utterly shameful.

Some highlights for me:

1) if youre going to sell tickets in pairs, you have a MORAL OBLIGATION to allow re assigning tickets - I'm not joking, they said Moral obligation!!

2) Can we get compensation for the hardship of spending a few hours on the internet and not getting the tickets you owe us. I actually laughed at this

3) Maybe the band should have a board liaison to come on here and let us know what the band members are thinking...or something.

Seriously, Pearl Jam if you are reading this, I sincerely hope you just shut this freaking place down, go back to mailed tickets and newsletters, and making great music. This is absolutely shameful. And it's not lost on me that most of the major whiners have low post counts.

And if I hear one more person refer to PJ as a "Brand"... they are a freaking ROCK BAND!!! All they need to do is write, record, release, tour, repeat. All this shit is extra and unneccesary!

Seriously people suck it up already!!!

Then where would you post your rants?

I wouldn't need to post rants. All I want is concerts and albums. Don't get me wrong, I like this place as a source of info, but the band owes us nothing. The way people are behaving here, you would think they are shareholders or something.

I agree with what you say, and the bitching about merch is stupid.

But I do understand the emotions of buying tix and attending shows. That's my #1 priority for being a 10c member

The system needs to run smooth, and many of us remember what a certain someone said about Alpine and moving forward with tix dist.

I think, sorry to say ......a lot of that was just lip service. the half-assed approach has run its coarse

  • Here's the catch though:

Say I get shut out of buying tickets. If i'm going to a show by myself, then I can put out feelers in advance, or on the day of the show to see who has the best seat available. If I have good mojo, I can end up with a better seat than what my priority number would give me.

If my number is 567,xxx and I get shut out, then I could potentially end up amongst the 125,xxx people.

If I need two tickets together, it's a bit harder...but I just have to find two people who were lucky enough to get tickets.

With that said, it probably wouldn't hurt to go back to the postcard system for 1-2 tours.
