In my opinion, the new format sucks. If I want to listen to news, there are much better stations in Chicago.
I miss Q101, it was my go-to station when I wanted to hear music in Chicago. XRT isn't bad (they played some great PJ interviews and radio "rarities" during PJ20 weekend) but they just play a little too much Wilco for my liking.
they play a solid mix, although i could do without KOL and other skinny jean bands
Besides XRT, I mostly now just listen to sports radio when I am in my car or working outside. Growing up, I always wondered why my dad listened to sports talk on the radio instead of music. I am either turning into my dad or becoming old - not sure which is worse.
