If Pearl Jam put their new album aside...

... and went down to neil Youngs ranch to record Mirrorball 2. Would you think that would be a great idea, or would you like them to skip it to get their own album out sooner?
Man I want a mirrorball 2. PJ are more experienced, Eddie would take up some more space now. Some accoustic duets maybe.

A lot of experience has been gained in writing music and lyrics since Mirrorball was recorded and also with Ed's involvement in the Into The Wild soundtrack I think they are at the level now where they could pull off a masterpiece with Neil Young. There is plenty time for this to happen in the future and I don't suppose the band will really feel the need to do it again. Mirrorball was great and the period of writing from Vitalogy through to No Code is definately their high water mark for me. I would take another collaboration with NY anyday but not if it was at the expense of a PJ album. I would love Ed or PJ to collaborate with Ben Harper or Chris Cornell.Like a book among the many on a shelf...
