Wouldn't it be best to send every Tenclub-member a tour list in advance with a deadline (before publice sale starts) to book any date you want to attend? That way your membership really pays off and no one will ever be disappointed. There will be no rush, no stress because every member has 'reserved' tickets. If a member chooses not to book a ticket the ticket will automatically be available for public sales.

All TC-members together (I'm not sure how many there are in total, worldwide?) will never sell out any of these European venues, so after the 'member' sale there will be plenty of tickets for the 'normal' public.

and why should the fans expect to be in the loop, why should we expect anything?

I know some join just for tix and show up when they are available,
then gripe when things go less than perfect.
That to me seems like a 'me me me' attitude....

Again I thought fan clubs were created to show love and support for a favorite
not for what a fan might get out of it.

Show some gratitude to the band, their manager and the Ten Club
that does so much for us,
so much that they do not have to do!

The ass kissers make me sick. I wonder if they would be so warm and fuzzy if they were anonymous.Seems to me they are hoping for perks. Who has more of the tickets 10C members or brokers ? Tickets are all over the internet for up to 10x face value. Many members signed up only because of the pre-sale.10C staff know this. Any reputable business would take care of this problem.

I agree fully. Whatever I or anyone else may think of the people running 10C, in the end it's the band who are in charge and allow things to continue the way they have. That's why I've had enough (in combination with other factors). I don't want a refund or tickets or compensation. I'd like to know why we weren't show enough respect by being kept abreast of what was happening, but it looks like such answers just won't be had. I'm curious what, if any, changes will actually occur here, but at the end of the day, I'm out. I just want 10C to respond to my email, though I'm sure I'll have to call them if I want any chance of having my tickets transferred.

I seriously do not understand this ticket debacle. Pearl Jam has plenty of time to work out ticketing before the public on sale date. I know Dave Matthews Band is not very popular on here, but their ticketing system has worked for years. Every member is given a chance to put in for the shows they want to attend. Then based on a lottery or seniority tickets are distributed. Everyone knows if they got tickets before the public on sale. This system seems to give everyone a fair chance to put in for tickets. There is not a mad rush to hit F5 at 10am on a given morning. The band can choose to reward seniority if they want to or not. The current system that PJ has does not work. There needs to be change.

Edit-And to add to that, I do agree with you. Of course the band knows what's going on. I never said they didn't. I just think we need someone that can tell the band this is not working and persuade them.

I didn't even get tickets. I didn't even try. I did stay up until 5 AM helping folks out with what was available and what wasn't.

It was just interesting really and I hope something can get figured out. All I ask is for a little more communication.

i am a fan of a rock band...i care about the music...i care about seeing the band live...everything else is meaningless...i don't need tim to come on here every 5 minutes telling where the latest piece of crap they've sold is...you are putting blame on tim bierman but what i'm trying to get across to you is he is not the final word...he may want to say things but the band won't allow him


i joined 10c to get an opportunity to get tickets which they do provide albeit poorly...but each time they try to improve but, as i said, their hands are tied because the band doesn't not want to use ticketmaster or any large ticketing system

Hi Kelly.....thanks a lot for taking the time to answer all our questions here!
Here's my thought....
I think in order to have tickets sales running smoothly with no server issues or crashes over the future, maybe the best thing would be to allow fan club tickets (1 pair per member as usual) only for people living in the country where the show will take place, that way for sure there would be less traffic on the server (The billing address of the credit card used to buy the ten club seats will determine country of residence). For example, only people from England could have bought tickets for the Manchester gig, as opposed to people from all over the globe.
If the tickets put aside for ten club members are not sold out after the pre sale, only then fan club members from other countries or continents would be allowed to buy these remaining tickets.
I think it would really suck if Pearl Jam would come to one of our home town, and we won't be able to get tickets or good seats because somebody else from a different country got them instead....I mean, not all of us can afford to travel around the globe to follow Pearl Jam while they are on tour.
