He asked her why
And she replied,
“Here, within this room
where the windows are open
and the curtains are closed
I left a trail of kisses
for you to follow…
and leave by
But,
You’re still here.”

He looked over
to where the dying flowers
sat, in a full vase
with one
perfect Peony
in full bloom
and knew,
she had heart.
That she would be too easy
to forgive.
Pepper- I am faith without religion, without bruised knees and pleas for forgiveness...
