    It should never be okay to refurse to release data from any project funded with tax dollars unless it pertains to national security. Since this doesn't fall under that umbrealla, it should be released so it can be studied by other scientists.

    Wasn't Climate-gate 1 and 2.0 widely discredited? I was under the impression that these were essentially fake scandals based on stolen emails taken way out of context.

    it was, but the gop buzzwords remain. 90% of their platforms are buzzwords.
