    easy I would have thought cost me about 4K to make it across to PJ20 and was only in the states from thursday late at night til tuesday morning
    I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

    It all depends what level of comfort you need. Not counting airfare (round trip Israel - Berlin), I am thinking my 2 weeks in Europe will cost around 1000 - 1500 euro (440 of that for tickets). Land in Berlin, night train to Amsterdam (there for 3 nights - maybe find a couch to sleep on), hitch a ride to werchter (camp out for 5 nights), somehow get to Berlin and meet my wife there (stay for 4 nights - probably at a hostel).
    Still can't believe I met Mike Mccready at the Guggenheim and got a pic with him!!!!!

    2010: 9/7/10 - Bilbao
    2012: 26-27/6/12 - Amsterdam ~~ 29/6/12 - Werchter ~~ 4-5/7/12 - Berlin
    2014: 25/6/14 - Vienna ~~ 26/6/14 - Berlin

    yeah absolutely ... although I can understand the above sentiments of not necessarily wanting to explain the expense to a lot of people including family.

    i had it at close to 5K for two people...depending on where you fly to. to berlin was 1K, to london was 700

    1k for hotels...although you can go alot cheaper, but i'd have to take the woman and she has higher standards than me

    food, misc travel there, tickets, and all that other shit adds up....

    if you went cheap...i'd say 1500 minimum plus tickets per person
