Poster storage recommendation

I have a few PJ Posters that I will not be framing and would like to store them for the long-term. I read a few posts and wanted to get a few opinions on what everyone thinks is the best way. Right now I have about 5 prints I need to store. I know I need acid-free storage and found something called "ARCHIVAL PRINT PROTECTORS". Thoughts? How do you all do it? Any recommendations for where to buy?

apparently there are books you can buy to store poster, from what ive seen demetrios is probably the best person to ask on things like this

If one is a MSG donkeykong. the best place to store it would be in a frame......... at my house.

Some people swear by those portfolios but I find them too flimsy.

HaHa.. I missed that show!!! Was out of town.. PISSED! Great show and AMAZING poster! I bought a Ottawa PJ20 Variant in hopes I could trade for one of the NY/NJ shows I am missing, but no takers...

Another quick, probably stupid question. My poster is 20x26, I'm assuming I would have to go one size up on the Print protector correct?

No I use them to center the poster on the black paper insert and keep the poster from moving around. You can put 2 posters in each (one on each side of the black paper insert)

Yeah the size on the site is the size of the protector. I would go a size up.

Not for nothing, but I went the cheap route for poster storage and it has worked fine for me: cardboard project display from like Staples for $5. They're 36" tall and like 24" wide or so, and have "doors". I have several of my prints in there, separated by acid free paper, stowed under my bed and they're all wonderfully flat and perfect. No need for a fancy expensive portfolio...

another route to go if you have more than a few prints... works beautifully. not a price gouge. not overly flimsy. easy to move about without much worry. holds up to 80 prints. which goes along with the first comment i made. my 2cents.

Love those cases. Only one's I can find that are 24x36 art portfolios. I still love my ITOYLA 18x24 one's. Wish they made them larger. And those huge 24x36 newspaper boxes are pretty sweet too.

This is what I use too, 24x36. holds the Klausen PJ20 but I guess it doesn't fit the PJ20 billboard poster. They have coupon codes from time to time (20% off lowest price) so wait for those if you can, throw in some sleeves and get free shipping.

The 24x36 comes with 5 sleeves (10 posters). And I think the refills come in 10s. They can take max 40 sleeves/80 posters, and someone else had mentioned on another thread that the big portfolios can also hold the smaller sleeve if you want to get different-sized sleeves.
