Another EV Bridge School interview by a Bridge Schooler
Here's a little something positive we can all smile about! Just came across this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2wQrK_mxxw, don't think this one's been posted before. Great interview with Eddie and his friend Maricor!

These melt my heart, THIS is what its all about.0

the bridge schoolers are better interviewers that 99% of journalists haha
it probably helps that eddie is far more open with them than he would be with a journalist0 -
I love how he lets his guard down. Still prefer the other one where the kid tells Ed, "You're all so OLD!"0

eddie vedder is the freakin best...."Can't buy what I want because it's free..."0

Awesome!Great questions..especially about Into the Wild.
Show #13 was a lucky one for me....0 -
along with his lyrics and music, this is the reason i love ed. hes got the biggest heart ive ever seen from a rock star. this means something to him, more than money and fame. from the first time i saw these videos about a year ago, i really understood why i love this band so much. it good to see there is the rich and famous realizing that there are people in this world that dont have the "normal' life and do anything they can to give them that as much as possible.Stab it down, fill the pages, suck my fuckin' life out, man0

Very heart warming..... I can't help but smile while watching this! The thing I like most about time is that it's not real. It's all in the head. Sure, it's a useful trick to use if you want to meet someone at a specific place in the universe and have tea or coffee- but that's all it is- a trick. There is no such thing as the past. It exists only in the memory. There is no such thing as the future. It exists only in our imagination. If our watches were truly accurate, the only thing they would ever say is "Now". That's what time it is. It's "Now". - Damien Echols0

This was the first year I've been able to make it to the Bridge School Benefit, and I can't express enough how incredible of a time it was. Seeing all of the kids up on stage, knowing the gargantuan difficulties they have overcome, makes me appreciate my life as a human being that much more. I can't begin to fathom the courage and determination it takes to succeed given all of the boundaries and obstacles these kids must overcome, and watching Ed love every minute of this makes it even more special. He truly cares about Maricor and all of these kids, and it makes you so incredibly proud to be a fan of such an amazing band that gives back so much when most others just bask in their own success. Bridge School has become a must on my calendar every year now, and I am so looking forward to next year and the years beyond in which we can give these kids appreciation and hopefully motivation and support for what they have overcome and at the same time continue to appreciate what Ed and all of the artists that support Bridge School do in order to bring awareness and attention to this incredibly worthy cause. What a cool video! Thanks for posting.0

Thanks so much for posting the link for this interview! I love Eddie's warmth and obvious love for the kids and the Bridge School. I attended Bridge in 2010 and also this year, and I hope to go every year from now on.
Seeing this interview, just reinforces why I have so much love for EV and this awesome band!!"A beacon on dry land"0 -
