    as much as the band wants to be a small, indie band, their fanbase is much too big for ticket sales...unfortunately the time has come

    i like the way Phish does it - they play the same venues and have just as much ticket demand most of the time

    presales done through a lottery, they open it from a week to two, and never have to worry about a server issue. credit cards deleted after, and if you get tickets in the presale, music today makes custom souvenir ticket stock - and i've never had a single problem with this system

    i really think this is an option 10C should explore - and i've emailed it to them - and i bet they could work out the issues to keep it fan club only and will call.

    I've never understood why when they use an outside ticketing agent for a presale they use some password they email to everyone. Why not just use people's individual 10c member number as their password? You wouldn't have to worry about the password getting out then. I'm not sure how they did it this sale since I wasn't going to Europe.
