posted this in the eurotour thread but i'll start my own i guess.

if anyone is planning on this or has any interest in doing this, post or pm me.

maybe we can organize a group bus to the shows (werchter is 15 mins away, arras si like 45) or all post up in the same hotel/hostel and maybe do some sightseeing and grab a waffle on sunday after the shows are over.
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

  • Hey, I`m going to wercher festival two days (28 and 29) The first day I`m alone and I don`t know what to do, I would like to come back to Brussels because I booked my room, But I think I would not find a train at that time, What do you recommend???
    The waiting drove me mad

    Think you got those timings a bit wrong! Wechter is closer to Leuven. By car, from Brussels, it would take a good 40mins at least - depending on time and where you're staying in Brussels - I'm assuming central (you also need to consider the time to get out of the festival and on the road). And for Arras, you can add at least another hour on top of your timing! Lille is the closest place to Arras.

    Leuven to Werchter would be approx 20 mins and Lille to Arras would be approx 45 mins.

    I'm going to werchter festival only the day pj is playing. I'm staying in brussels and I'm going with girlfiend. I would definitely be interested in a group or maybe if there is only 4 or 5 of us we could rent a car for a day and split. Send a pm if you are intererested.

  • Werchter - In 2007 I split a cab with some others back to Brussels from Leuven was expensive but fast and easy.

    Arras - In 2010 booked a hotel room in Arras - best bet as can walk to festival from there.

    SHOW COUNT: (164) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=108, US=118, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5
    Mexico=1, Colombia=1

    Guys... look at this...

    Seems one can get a FREE return from any station in Brussels to Leuven and once there, there is the shuttle bus taking you to the site. Naturally, if you are coming back on the same night, that may be an issue, but if you are going for the festival and camping, may be helpful.
