For those going to Prague...

Tell me everything you can about it! There's a possibility that when i get this money i'm waiting for, i'll be able to get a couple of tickets and add Prague to my growing list of shows!

So...i'm looking for anyone to help with info:

Are there any cheap hotels/hostels nearby?
Is the airport near to the venue?

Just stuff like that, info is greatly appreciated!

have a look through the 'rock the kafka' thread... there's a good amount of info there. in short though, you can get a cheap hotel, the beer/food is cheap and the flights out there with easy jet are cheap too.

airport is quite far away, be aware of the taxis upthere, so better to take a bus #119, takes cca 30mins to the first Underground station. Then 10mins to downtown. The Sazka Arena isnt really in the centre, but thanks to the Metro system, it takes cca 20mins to get there from centre of Prague. Have fun
