Who would you support and why? My choice - Ron Paul
Dr Paul is the only true anti war candidate. If you are a progressive whose main issue is ending the imperial wars, then you now finally have a candidate you can get behind and support. Paul is the only logical choice for anti war voters. Unlike Obama who lied and said if elected the first thing he would do is bring the troops home, Paul as POTUS will follow through on this promise. He will have the power to make this happen. There is nobody other than Ron Paul who has any intentions of actually bringing the troops home.
He is the closest thing to an honest candidate there is or ever has been running for President and has been consistent for the last 30 years. He is a tireless advocate of civil rights. He opposes and would repeal the Patriot act. He also would end the federal war on drugs, end Foreign Aid, follow the Constitution, end the growing Police State and abolish taxes. Most divisive and controversial social issues would be left to the states.
He has also announced that his Presidential Salary will be $39,000, not the hundreds of thousands President Obama receives. He refuses to take part in Congressional Pension and returns $100,000 from Congressional Budget to US Treasury and has done so past years. Do i support everything he advocates? No, but he speaks my language on those issues that i feel the most strongly about.
What say you?

Look even Jeff Dunham has his hand up his puppet hole. ! . !
the thing is... you should think about facts.... those days... im swedish and I even get it!
The best party for Ron Paul would probably be the Libertarian Party. He actually ran for president as a Libertarian in 1988.
"Unfortunately, our system of elections makes it nearly impossible for third parties to gain any traction (see Duverger’s law), so running as a Libertarian would be nothing but a symbolic gesture.
Also Ron Paul is a libertarian more than he is a Republican...
It doesnt matter if u are democrat or republican thease days... Look at the field of GOP candidates. They are SO different..
Ron Paul is for a better america, he doesnt care if he would have been a democrat or a republicna or a third party candidate as long as he could get america back on track.
I don't wanna judge ANYONE.. But Paul is the only true and good choice for america.
I just shakes my head to the other candidates, Obama might be a good choie but not much change would come.
what if..
What if we wake up one day and realize that the terrorist threat is the predictable consequence of our meddling in the affairs of others, and has nothing to do with us being free and prosperous?
What if propping up repressive regimes in the Middle East endangers both the United States and Israel?
What if occupying countries like Iraq and Afghanistan and bombing Pakistan is directly related to the hatred directed toward us?
What if someday it dawns on us that losing over 5,000 American military personnel in the Middle East since 9/11 is not a fair tradeoff with the loss of nearly 3,000 American citizens no matter how many Iraqi, Pakistanian, Afghan people are killed or displaced?
What if we finally decide that torture, even if called “enhanced interrogation technique”, is self-destructive and produces no useful information and that contracting it out to a third world nation is just as evil?
What if it is finally realized that war and military spending is always destructive to the economy?
What if all war-time spending is paid for through the deceitful and evil process of inflating and borrowing?
What if we finally see that war-time conditions always undermine personal liberty?
What if Conservatives who preach small government wake up and realize that our interventionist foreign policy provides the greatest incentive to expand the government?
What if Conservatives understood once again that their only logical position is to reject military intervention and managing an empire throughout the world?
What if the American people woke up and understood that the official reasons for going to war are almost always based on lies and promoted by war propaganda in order to serve special interests?
What if we as a nation came to realize that the quest for empire eventually destroys all great nations?
What if Obama has no intention of leaving Iraq?
What if a military draft is being planned for for the wars that would spread if our foreign policy is not changed?
What if the American people learned the truth, that our foreign policy has nothing to do with national security, that it never changes from one administration to the next?
What if war in preparation for war is a racket serving the special interests?
What if President Obama is completely wrong about Afghanistan and it turns out worse than Iraq and Vietnam put together?
What if Christianity actually teaches peace and not preventive wars of aggression?
What if diplomacy is found to be superior to bombs and bribes in protecting America?
What happens if my concerns are completely unfounded?
Nothing.
But what happens if my concerns are justified and ignored?
Nothing good.
And I yield back the balance of my time.”

Its right there, right infront of you guys..
just do it..
When the election IS tomorrow, I will vote for the GOP candidate.
I would "love" to vote for my made up third party candidate bit that isn't reality.
War is necessary because we are human and we have limited resources on this rock.
The United States of America is the guiding light. We need to continue to hold the "conch".
We need to continue to fight (war) to provide democracy to those that don't have a voice/vote.
We need to continue to be a country where ANY motherfucker can become President IF voted for legitimately. Even if it is by duping people with social media And slogans that otherwise, would never have voted anyway...
If the election were tomorrow (and it is)
I vote for freedom. I vote for the GOP candidate.
If its Ron Paul!!!!
HIM
How do third parties fare in Sweden with your parliament? I'm curious.
Im sorry. I dont like Rand Paul either, plus he defiled a "God" I believe in. Paul aint workin any political mojo for me.
a party need to have 4% to get in the parliamentary
currently parties are:
Socialdemokraterna (S), 112 mandat
Moderata samlingspartiet (M), 107 mandat
Miljöpartiet de gröna (MP), 25 mandat
Folkpartiet liberalerna (FP), 24 mandat
Centerpartiet (C), 23 mandat
Sverigedemokraterna (SD), 19 mandat (racists)
Vänsterpartiet (V), 19 mandat (most to the left)
Kristdemokraterna (KD), 19 mandat (most to the right)
Mandat = mandate ~ seats in the parlament.
There are 348 seats.
Wow. Talk about gulping down the propaganda hook, line and sinker. All of that is completely spurious reasoning. Not a single one of those sentences is logically meaningful.
96: Cork, Dublin
00: Dublin
06: London, Dublin
07: London, Copenhagen, Nijmegen
09: Manchester, London
10: Dublin, Belfast, London & Berlin
11: San José
12: Isle of Wight, Copenhagen, Ed in Manchester & London x2
Wake up people, this bullshit that we are in control of who leads this country is nothing more than that: bullshit.
the problem is ultimately not who the candidates are ... it's the system ... it has been corrupted and that is what needs to change ... which of the candidates is most likely going to fight that system? ... the answer is undoubtedly ron paul ...
it's funny because as much as americans love to tout democracy and freedom ... their electoral system is the least democratic outside a dictatorship or military regime ...
Godfather.
What if the GOP Candidate was Snookie, for 'Jersey Shore'? Would you vote for her... just because there is an 'R' next to her name? In a hypothetical election... Hitler(R)... Jesus(D). You'd vote Jesus, right? You wouldn't just go with it just because of the political party, would you?
Voting for one party or the other... just because it is one party, not the other... is... well... not very smart, doncha think?
Hail, Hail!!!
I think I'm going to have to argue that ours (in Canada) is worse. Except for the 2 party bullshit they have down there. But that is for another thread
