  • IF, I would support ANY president candidate, it would for sure be Ron Paul. NONE ELSE.

How do you figure when he's a distant third just for the Republican nomination?

hope so, although I don't have enough faith in the American people to actually believe it. He has my support however, and hopefully the support of those who wish no further US military action around the world. You have to pick and choose what is worse, and I would like to think people who want our military actions to stop but don't agree with his domestic policies would see the light and get out there in these primaries and support this man and send a message to the GOP that nation building and war mongering will not be tolerated. otherwise we will just get two people running for office that will change 1% of the policies and keep on getting people killed, both on our side and the other.

  • No, it will be a fall guy like Romney or Gingrich.

Republicans are usually able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It's what they do best.

regardless of your political persuasion on this board ... everyone on here should be voting for ron paul if given the opportunity ... and hopefully, the fraud that is the US gov't now will be exposed for what it is ...

so far I am leaning towards Ron Paul, I don't care for Nute,Romey or any of the others...Buccman or what ever her name is she's hot(looking) but dosen't stand a chance,as a female candaidate Clinton would have a better chance and I'll bet we see her coming on strong in the next elections...but on a side bet I would bet Nute gets the job this time.

Yes. Everyone should vote against their personal interests and vote for Ron Paul. Even if you disagree with him on many things, if you're on this board...you should vote for Ron Paul. If you don't vote for Ron Paul you might as well piss on Eddie Vedder's telecaster.

listen ... i disagree with Ron Paul on many issues but you can't possibly tell me that of all the evils - he isn't the lesser of them all ...

even if it just strictly on foreign policy ... if he cuts money to the military and brings troops home ... that is a huge win against economic imperialism ...

the only people who shouldn't vote for him are those who want the status quo ... corporately driven gov't that benefits primarily the big corporations ...

    Refreshing!!

I was just thinking today how our current political system is like a drivers ed car...you can either drive from the right, or drive from the left, but everyone is in the same damn car and it is terrible dangerous when it is on the road. Obama is no different from Romney, thank god we will have a full year of them telling us how different they are and then 4 years of them making 95% of the same choices.

if the gov't system was not corrupt - i would vote for obama ... his failures are simply that he is working within a corrupt system and within a very weakened democracy ... a democracy that allows elected officials to continually disregard the interests of its citizens to satisfy a political agenda ... as bad as the democratic party is - the republican one is utterly disgraceful ... there are barely any true conservatives amongst them anymore ...

what i would have loved to seen is obama fighting that system and failing miserably which is what i foresee happening if ron paul ever got elected ... because ultimately - that is where the change needs to happen ... not the puppet that gets put into the oval office ... the whole corrupt system needs to be blown up ...

I would say they are all disgraceful. and yes, there are barely any true conservatives, they are called libertarians and they are shunned for being crazy...

it is sad, at least democrats don't prance around the issue of government involvement. Republicans constantly want to talk about the evils of government intrusion and then label people un-patriotic while they vote to pass the patriot act, support the "war" on drugs, and promote nation building...I hate it.
also, first time I have ever heard moderate libertarian,

I don't believe the Republican Party would EVER run Ron Paul. In their view, he is too much of a wild card that will go against their base agenda. Ron Paul is wasted as a Republican. He is truely an independent and needs to run as an Independent... before his time is past.
