Have there been any other PJ poster that wasn't sold at any show and only a limited print directly from the artists? I have a feeling that the PJ20 billboard poster will be the Benaroya Hall LP of the poster world.

I think you may be right. It's really quite unusual to come across a print for a show that wasn't sold at the show I think. At least at the 10+ shows I have been too. If anyone knows of another show other than this one please do share it. I see people selling them on the bay at 200+ but I honestly think that might be a deal. In about 2 years these will probably double that in value. My first show was Hartford 98 and there were 450 prints sold by Ames and the poster was sold at the show also they sell for crazy money now. I feel very fortunate to have gotten one of these Billboard prints. I was unable to go to the destination weekend due to work but enjoyed celebrating this past year with the book, the film and the tour posters. This poster is my Pearl Jam 20!Congrats to all who scored one.

I'm honestly not sure which print this is. Could someone share a link so I can see the poster that I missed out on?
  • I think you are right as well. There are still people who are unaware they even missed anything. I got lucky and mangaged to snag one from MunkOne. It will be great to frame this. I just need the Mookie/200 print to complete the PJ20 prints that I want. The Mark5 and the Ames Can will be too pricey for me.

I agree, It was a small window of maybe 10 hours for the masses to find out that 1- It was made, signed and info tweeted.. And 2- It sold out in 1 minute on each site after a few hours of F5 <3.. lol..

I am only missing the Ames beer can. But I'm going to hold off on my search for that one. I have several posters to frame first.

There is one on ebay now but the price is steep.

That price doesn't surprise me with only 20 of them printed.

I had to pick my battles at the PJ20 weekend. I scored a billboard poster so I now have the 4 (both day posters, weekend poster and billboard poster) but in terms of the other posters available that weekend, I was only able to buy the Jermaine soldier of peace one...the foil one that only had 20 available.

I think the Mark5 one was probably the best one available.

I almost asked this very same question today... I have one on the way and will be considering a trade to get my vinyl completed.

The poster (first of all) is beautiful and second of all there are only 255 of them....

200 sold to the public. 50 given to AP (whoever the hell that is?).

    5 to the printers

I am not sure why they only printed (200 for argument sake), just for the fact that 36,000 people were there day one. Then at least another 34,000 people night two.

That is close 70,000+ people for 200 posters.

That is one poster per every 350 people.

Just saying, maybe 1000 or 2000 would've been a better number to print up perhaps?

No matter, I am going to let 349 people come over who were at PJ20 to see my poster next year.

    :lol::lol::lol:

A guy in the Lost Dogs wanted to trade his for a first day poster from PJ20. I almost pulled mine out of the frame to trade him.

This poster will be of legend.
