This is the date that most people will associate with the birth of our boys! I have watched or listened to this show countless times over the years, and it still amazes me what came out of it.....One of the most influential bands of our generation and of all time!! Hard to believe watching this show, that they would become so explosive....so in tune with one another....Just seem so reserved and nervous for the most part. 18 years...hundred of shows....hundreds of boots...hundreds of memories....new friends.....old songs.....A life long passion...THANK YOU!!!

Happy Birthday!!! :D

my friend went to the show.

he lived up the street from the off ramp, and was a huge love bone fan. he went to go check out the new project by the love bone guys, and to have beers.

i know he still listens to the band, but i think the last show he went to was in 93. maybe he went again in 98 or 00, but no traveling or anything like that.

crazy that it has been 18 years though. i was front row at the ten year show, and that doesn't feel like 8 years ago... crazy.

  • I don't have the boot of the 22/10/90 show but I celebrated this morning by listening to the Edwards No.8 Birmingham show (26/02/92) on my way to work.

I used to be a regular at Edwards No.8 (it's no longer there due to a fire) and it gave me a great feeling inside to know that they played at my local when I was merely 8 years old :)

    Happy 18th Anniversary fellas!!!

The greatest thing about this long career is the unlimited amount of bootlegs you can find through the years.

I just discovered a sweet little show from March 9th, 1994 in Pensacola; a benefit concert for 'The Rock of Choice' charity. The setlist is short compared to other PJ shows but the songs were amazing. I think Dave A had a lot to do with that.

They started off the show really hard with Go as the opener. Animal and SOLAT just kicks ass, and also the little tag of the Police's Every Breath You Take in Black was just magical.

Eddie was quite hilarious as a jokester. My favorite part was when he talked about Mike being born in Pensacola, and when he were roommates in the beginning of the band's stages. He said something to this phrase "He used to sit on the edge of the bed and mumble to myself....and later I realized he was thanking God he got out of Pensacola."

That's the great thing about this awesome band, there are so many good concerts they've left behind that you can discover and enjoy it as if you were there live.

Cheers to the greatest live band EVER!
