Does anyone have any word on a soundcheck? Or is it too early?

I wonder if people do this setlist thing with other bands too, say, U2 fans...
Just wondering.
I'm no dude! Dudette!

Sammi: Wanna just break up?
right?
Of course.. I made the setlist of the second gig when U2 came to mexico

I'm a native English speaker, and I always hesitate on the above is/are debate.
Pearl Jam is a single entity, meaning the correct form of 'be' for them is 'is'.
But Pearl Jam is made up of five/six individuals making them a plurality, in which case you could make an argument for using 'are.'
Which is proper English and correct grammar?

The correct form is "is," as in "Pearl Jam is awesome." It is one Pearl Jam.
If you were talking about more than one, it would be "are," as in "The members of Pearl Jam are awesome." or "The Chicago Bears are awesome."
See, in the last example, Bears is plural (more than one), so its "are."

Agreed, but I've seen music mags and entertainment columnists use "U2 are" or "Metallica are" before. That made me wonder if the usage is acceptable.
I still opt for "Pearl Jam is", but I only raised the question because I've noticed at times people I would expect to be knowledgeable use the other.
