If I had to narrow down my favorite funny movies to 3:

1. Anchorman
2. Blazing Saddles
3. She's Out of My League (very underrated, i could watch this movie time and again, so damn funny)

How has nobody mentioned THE comedy? Airplane!

    1. Airplane!
    2. Fletch
    3. Animal House

Not very original I know, but they're classics for a reason.

    Honorable Mentions:

    Ghostbusters
    The Big Lebowski
Monty Python And The Holy Grail
    This Is Spinal Tap

Edit: OK, DS1119 got Airplane! in there.

It certainly has its moments (especially near the end when they are taking the castle and planning for it) but there is also a lot of slow parts. To me at least. I really don't care for the musical numbers either. Except for "Skeet Surfin'".

On the subject of Top Secret/Val Kilmer, another honorable mention to "Real Genius".

Mitch Taylor: The weirdest thing just happened to me.
Chris Knight: Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid, with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?
    Mitch Taylor: No...
Chris Knight: Why, am I the only one who has that dream?

Wow!! Forgot about that one. This thread is just too difficult. No one has mentioned Porky's yet or Revenge of the Nerds.
