I'm planning my trip to London and Manchester.
I got confused with finding a train with a reasonable price from London to Manchester.
And a second thing, which train stop is the closest to m.e.n arena?

I did Stoke to London (and back again) in 2007 for the Wembley Arena show, and Virgin Rail did the tickets at £12.50 each way. Their website shows tickets for £17 one way for London to Manchester:

You'll need to book early and travel off-peak.
The nearest station to the MEN is Victoria, which is actually underneath the arena itself. However, the London train will stop at Picadilly and then it's a ten minute walk from that station. Walk straight out the station, keep walking until you pass the Arndale Shopping Centre and the M&S, turn right and you can't miss it.
i was starting to think that the train ticket will cost more than the show....

got to get back to work, thursday morning, up and down in less then 12 hours going to be fun.
having said that, i will have a few empty seats that i would certainly be happy to offer (for a small donation of petrol money !!) ....might even have a spare ticket, if i cant persuade my brother to join me !!! :shock:
