I'm going to Stockholm as are various other members of the Euro Tour/Dublin Crew lot :D

    *waves* same hotel too innit!
Touring van will roll up sometime on the 6th, I'm wild camping down by Lake Vattern the night before so arrival time depends how that goes..

Ello lovely, yep indeed same hotel, though I think I have a window :D
I get into Stockholm at about 10pm on the 6th, flying from Berlin.
    wild camping huh :D

Yarp, wild camping indeed... (aka, not booking a campsite and randomly hoping to find a nice secluded spot in the woods or near the lake, preferably off a dirt track and miles from anyone else  )

Separately, I've heard that hotel windows are overrated :P
...London Doesn't Call Anymore... (rip joe)

Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.

I know what wild camping involves :D:lol:
Tbh we're not going to be there enough to notice the windows I suspect.

    No worries!! When there's a will there's a way...
I will still be in Stockholm on the 6th, much like many other people, so whoever wants to, let's find a bar and all meet up anyway...
And then on the 7th, let's party again...

Hey I am going ask this over here also: Do you know if they accept euro's at the merch sectionin Globen? Does it have to be cash, or can I use Visa/Mastercard?

I don't know about €, but I wouldn't count on that, if they do, you get a shitty rate. Visa/Mastercard is 100% they take.

Hard to say, since it depends on of course how much you will drink.....

1 beer in the city at pub about € 6
Just for reference I think a Big Mac&company is 56 sek or about € 6
Travel with subway and buses check this link http://sl.se/en/Visitor/Tickets/Visitor-tickets/

    So yes expensive...

But the good news for everyone traveling from US or Canada is that taxes are included in the prices, and no need to tip, right :)

The good old Carmen (street: Tjärhovsgatan 14) works fine ;-) ... huge hamburger, beer of the week about 4 €. On the big isle Södermalm there are loads of pubs, restaurants not too expensive. Walk a lot, the public transport is dead expensive in Stockholm, especially compared to Berlin. :/ Somewhere else I suggested the beer garden at Mosebacke
