Presale Reserved Seating Tickets

So Manchester show next year has reserved seating tickets in the presale - Anyone used this before???? Bit worried with it saying that seat location won't be known until you pick up the tickets on the night. Don't wanna get dumped on the top tier at the back when I know I can get good seats from general sale through the venue, but would be better being with fellow TCers.....
Got general seats last time (in 2009) and was close enough to spit on Mike, not that you ever would!!, but you get my drift!!
